Father Martin Castañeda of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sherman blesses a new statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary located at the entrance of St. Mary’s Catholic School on May 13. In addition to the statue, a brick rosary walk was constructed. During the blessing of the new statue and the school, students from St. Mary’s prayed a living rosary along the walk.
