Ordination to the priesthood

The four new priests ordained by Bishop Kevin J. Farrell during a Mass and Rite of Ordination on May 31 at the Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will each celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 1.

The four new priests ordained by Bishop Kevin J. Farrell during a Mass and Rite of Ordination on May 31 at the Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will each celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 1.

On Saturday, May 31, four men were ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Dallas as Bishop Kevin J. Farrell celebrated a Mass and Rite of Ordination at the Cathedral Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, welcoming Father Kevin Charles Wilwert, Father Martin Mbugua Mwangi, Father Juan Carlos Marín Cortés and Father Luca Simbula.

Each of the four new priests will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 1:

Father Kevin Charles Wilwert, noon at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen

Father Martin Mbugua Mwangi, 11 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church

Father Juan Carlos Marín Cortés, 12:15 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson

Father Luca Simbula, 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie.
